Information Security Policy

“BIOligo Biotechnology” recognizes corporate and personal information as an extremely valuable asset. That’s why our information and support business systems are critical to our business and need to be properly protected.

The purpose of corporate information security is to ensure that the information belonging to “Bioligo Biotechnology” is kept only by authorized persons and that corporate information is complete, accurate and ready for use when necessary. Due to the nature of the business activities of “Bioligo Biotechnology”, pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages may occur due to security weakness, it is aimed to avoid these damages and to reduce their possible effects.

All “Bioligo Biotechnology” personnel must comply with the principles of protection of confidential information referred in the Employment Contracts. It is essential that third-party stakeholders who have access to “Bioligo Biotechnology” information and their support personnel have to adhere to the general principles of the Information Security Main Policy, and other security responsibilities and obligations that they have to comply with.

All employees must fulfill the following issues;

  • Ensuring the continuity and control of the confidentiality, integrity and usability of information belonging to “Bioligo Biotechnology”,
  • Limiting its exposure to risks arising from the loss, corruption or misuse of its information assets of “Bioligo Biotechnology”,
  • The scope, content and application of information security standards, ensures that it is adequate to address the level of risk that “Bioligo biotechnology” faces and that legal, regulatory, policy and best practice requirements are complied with.

Information Processing Unit of “Bioligo Biotechnology” is the functional owner of the policies and procedures describing Information Systems activities and is responsible for their practicing within “Bioligo Biotechnology.

The manager of each unit is primarily responsible for taking the necessary measures to ensure compliance with the Information Security Policy and monitoring the operation of the system.

“Bioligo Biotechnology” undertakes to ensure full compliance with laws and regulations by meeting the applicable requirements related to information security as an enterprise and to continuously improve its Information Security Management System.

Violations of the Information Security Policy are also a violation of ethical rules and may result in disciplinary action. Violations of the Information Security Policy, which are detected as a result of surveillance, audit and reporting, may result in disciplinary penalties up to termination of employment.
